Work starts at Albert Pier, Jersey Harbour

We have started work in Jersey Harbour on a regeneration scheme being undertaken by the Port of Jersey at Albert Pier. We are supplying and installing pontoons that will deliver new, 24/7 access, 25-metre berths for superyachts plus additional berths for work boats. These will join berths four and five that we installed several years ago.

This is part of a project designed to significantly enhance the services and facilities along the Albert Pier in St Helier Harbour. The construction of the new berthing pontoons alongside the Albert Pier will allow some of the larger vessels currently berthed in Jersey to be relocated; thereby creating greater flexibility within the port and marinas.  This will, in turn, also provide up to 20 new berths in the other marinas, benefitting the local maritime community including boat owners, marine traders and sea charter operations. The Albert Pier project is an important investment and part of the commitment to continue to invest in critical infrastructure to ensure the harbour is able to meet the needs of the island into the future.
