Barges

Walcon operates three, multi-purpose barges that are available for a wide variety of uses. The Wizard, Warrior and Wolf range in size from 21 to 25 metres in length with a beam of 10 to 11 metres. The Wizard and the Warrior are self-propelled, and the Wolf is a dumb barge.

Together they enhance Walcon’s ability to transport and store equipment afloat and also, as stable platforms with large open work spaces, offer a wide range of additional capabilities including piling, rapid response for marina maintenance, contract support, shallow draft work and other civil engineering support.

The barges are available for short-term hire and are ideal for a wide range of activities, including:

  • Piling
  • Coastal transportation
  • Floating storage
  • Towage
