Walcon Marine has its own, directly employed, experienced marina installation crews who travel all over the world, as and when required, to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
The company has all the necessary expertise and will organise both labour and plant to carry out complete marina construction projects including the provision and installation of timber or steel mooring piles, chain mooring systems and all associated civil engineering works.
Marina Services
The essential extra components and services required to complete a marina project can all be delivered by Walcon. These include:
- the supply of water and power
- emergency equipment and associated hardware such as emergency cabinets and ladders
- cleats and bollards for mooring fixings
- electrical modules and water outlets
- pile caps, pile guides and access bridges
Marina equipment is either manufactured by Walcon or sourced from recommended suppliers.
Supply only
Walcon Marine is happy to deliver equipment on a supply only basis, with customers using their own contractors for installation and commissioning. Delivery options include its own transport fleet of modern vehicles and Walcon also maintain a marina storage and shipping facility at Vancouver Wharf on the banks of the River Itchen in Southampton.
From this wharf, floating pontoons, floating walkways, gangways, marina construction hardware, breakwaters and other ancillary equipment are loaded and shipped to sites all around the world.
