THYA conference returns after four years
2023 saw the return of the annual Marina Conference, organised by the The Yacht Harbour Association and sponsored by Walcon, after a four-year gap. This year it was held at at the RNLI College in Poole and was a great success. Jonathan White, General Manager at TYHA, commented:
"After a four-year gap the TYHA Marina Conference was back with a vengeance at the RNLI College in Poole on 11th May and once again kindly sponsored by Walcon.
"95 delegates joined for the networking and content extravaganza with a packed agenda; expert speakers delivered informative and thought provoking presentations focussed on key issues that marina managers are currently facing in their everyday working lives including H&S, staffing, electric boats and sustainability.
"The conference has always been renowned for excellent networking and sharing of ideas and this years event delivered that exceptionally well. All delegates and TYHA greatly appreciated Walcon’s kind sponsorship of the conference which provided significant added value including the iconic and highly entertaining after dinner speaker Tom Cunliffe (pictured)."
Walcon's James Walters added, "It was as always a pleasure to support the event and share news and views with the many marina operators in the UK and beyond who joined us for the day."
