We have returned to the Harleyford Estate on the River Thames to supply and install an access ramp, walkway and new finger pontoons for the refurbished second basin to the west of the main basin. The layout, created by Walcon in partnership with the marina management, involves using System 2000 pontoons including 10 articulated finger pontoons on one side of the basin and a further sixteen plus a hammerhead pontoon on the walkway. The result is a total of 55 new berths, taking the total at the 5 Gold Anchor Harleyford Marina to 359.
The contractor for the project was Greenford Ltd and the project was overseen by marina manager Mark Pierce, who has since reported that he and his customers are very pleased with the new facility.
