Work continues on the rebuild underway at Windermere Marina Village and will do so until mid-May, leaving the final works the year-end. Pier C was completed before Christmas and Pier D recently. Pier E will be next. Next autumn we will return for the final Pier AS and the sales berths. The marina is undergoing a complete transformation with a new layout that will accommodate 335 boats up to 15 metres in length and convert it from fixed timber jetties to floating Walcon System 2000 pontoons. The latter change is in response to the increasing incidence of the lake flooding in recent years.
