During the winter we replaced the ageing visitors’ pontoons opposite the Folly Inn on the River Medina. Using the Walcon Warrior barge, the piles were first checked before the pontoons were assembled and installed. The facility is owned and maintained by Cowes Harbour Services but managed on CHC’s behalf by Folly Ventures. It is particularly popular in the summer months with visitors to the inn, but the location is also a sensitive one.
