We have recently completed the build and installation of a new pontoon Jetty Bar together with a slipway pontoon at boatfolk’s Haslar Marina in Gosport. These works are part of a substantial redevelopment project by boatfolk to expand the adjacent boatyard and upgrade its shoreside facilities. These include a new bar restaurant building where the marina office was previously located. The Lightship, Haslar Marina’s iconic floating restaurant, has also been refurbished and is under new management.
Ben Lippiett, Haslar Marina General Manager, said: “We have been working on this plan for some time to increase the food and beverage offer to our customers in a desire to get more people having fun afloat. To finally see the Jetty Bar living and breathing has been fantastic. All credit to Walcon for the quality of the raft which is an incredibly solid platform and event area.”
