Earlier this year we were down at Rock on the North Cornwall coast, installing a heavy-duty pier for Rock Marine Services. The pier features a linear sequence of System 21 pontoons with a hammerhead profile at its head and is strengthened to allow it to take the sandy ground at low tide. From the pier, RMS operates a ferry service taking bertholders and visitors to and from their moorings and provides berths for smaller boats and tenders. The pier is also a valuable resource for the local community with the diving club, Rock Sailing Club and the local mackerel boats all making good use of it.
