We have supplied two commercial-grade waiting pontoons to the BAM Farrans joint venture that is currently building the Great Yarmouth Third River Crossing, one of Norfolk’s most significant infrastructure projects in recent years. Positioned on either side of the Herring Bridge, each pontoon is a total of 50 metres in length and is made up of 4 x 12 1/2 metres heavy duty jumbo units and fitted with mesh decking and navigation lights. Each will be held in position by four piles, and they will primarily serve windfarm support vessels and other workboats.
