There is no nicer place to be in August than in the Isle of Wight. So we were very fortunate to win the project to do a full renewal of the Lazy Days Marina at Wooton Bridge on Wooton Creek, midway between Cowes and Ryde. The Walcon Wizard plus an installation team were despatched across the Solent to remove the exiting pontoons and piles, which had seen many years of service, and replace them with two new, longer piers, a 6.5m and a new 1.2-metre access bridge, plus some finger pontoons and new piles. The entire project was completed in five days.
Owners Valentina and Peter very kindly told us afterwards, "We just wanted to let you know that we are so grateful to you and the wonderful crew, we got really fond of them all and especially the Wizard, we didn't want it to leave!"
