End of year message from managing director James Walters.
It's been another year of steady progress at Walcon Marine, with a range of projects large and small completed both in the UK and overseas. A subdued summer has since given way to an encouraging autumn, and the investment in our new barges signifies our confidence in the business environment in the years ahead.
Our project portfolio continues to be as diverse as ever as in 2015 we built facilities ranging from dinghy launching ramps up to those capable of taking the rough and tumble of workboat operations and the more sedate world of superyachts.
Overseas
It has also been good to see strong demand in our key overseas markets of Benelux and Australia. Our agents there have performed strongly and we look forward to more in 2016. We are also pleased to have reestablished our presence in Italy and hope to see the Walcon brand with its reputation for quality once again become a major force in the Mediterranean.
