Walcon Marine was founded in 1963 by Robin Walters BSc MICE, FIHE, a chartered civil engineer and one of the original pioneers behind large scale marinas in this country and abroad. Robin combined his love of sailing, his love of travel and his indisputable professional expertise to develop and promote his company's products worldwide. Robin passed away in 2018, but Walcon remains a family company and is headed by his son James.
As probably the longest established and most experienced marina construction company in its field, Walcon Marine is a global organisation and has provided some 100,000 berths for marina projects and installations worldwide, with harbours, floating pontoons, access bridges and docks installed in over thirty different countries on five continents.
The whole ethos of the company is one of friendly professionalism, with a desire to provide a uniquely comprehensive service from initial consultation to finished product.
