The UK’s largest dry stack has a new waiting pontoon by Walcon Marine. The dry stack at Trafalgar Wharf houses 300 motorboats and RIBs up to 13 metres long. The linear Walcon pontoon offers a total of 160 metres of short-term berthing along both sides for boats arriving at the dry stack or preparing to leave and adds new capacity to this very busy facility. It is built using Walcon System 21 pontoons to manage the very high usage rate and features include continuous fendering. The Walcon Wizard piling barge provided support by transporting the pontoons to the site and inserted the five piles that hold them in place. (Image: Trafalgar Wharf)
