Another project in Italy this year took place on the famous Lake Maggiore. A private marina, Nautica Ferrari e Tabacchini is located in Sesto Calende (Varese), on the lake’s southern banks not far from Milan. A small but historic marina, it is fully equipped with Walcon pontoons and Sara Lanzoni and her team delivered an additional System 21 unit measuring 11.5m by 2m with mooring cleats and n.6 Lucciola service bollards (yellow and blue – see images).
The pontoon module was manufactured at Walcon’s UK factory while the GRP service bollards were reconditioned Sistema Walcon units sourced in Italy.
