The project at the Lymington Yacht Haven required the replacement of a number of existing finger pontoons with new, longer units together with their end piles. Using the Walcon Wizard piling barge, 11 of the existing finger end piles were extracted, along with another two piles from the main walkway. These latter two were repositioned back onto the main walkway. We then built and installed nine new, 15-metre long, finger pontoons along with end piles. Some of the existing finger end extracted piles were also re-driven as they were in good condition. The pontoon equipment installed was Walcon’s durable System 21.
