Walcon returned to Wells-next-the-Sea on the North Sea over the winter to supply the equipment for a new, quayside landing facility for the Harbour Commissioners. This included a 15m by 1.2m access bridge with a bridgehead and transitional ramp, linked to a 46m by 2.25m landing stage by a 5-metre link pontoon. System 21 pontoons were used and the facility will be used primarily by fishing boats chartered by sea anglers for day trips. The works were overseen by Harbour Master Robert Smith MBE.
In 2010, Walcon installed a 150m berthing facility for wind farm maintenance vessels in Wells-next-the-Sea’s Outer Harbour.
