The company is now seeking an experienced Estimator/Bid Manager to provide quotations for projects from £10,000 to 2 million pounds.
Key Tasks:
- Receive enquiries.
- Ability to prepare quotations, tenders & associated bid paperwork
- Identifying material and subcontractors requirements.
- Ability to prepare tenders on multiple projects.
- Negotiating skills.
- Site surveys/site visits
- Attend exhibitions
- Internal tender reporting
- Ability to use initiative
Requirements:
- Experience in estimating in the Construction Industry.
- Understanding of Marine Civil Engineering.
- Ability to form relationships at all levels both internally and externally
- Identifying material and subcontractors requirements.
- Confidence in dealing with clients.
- Piling experience would be useful, but not essential.
- To travel nationally and internationally as required.
- Understanding of Marine Leisure Industry would be beneficial but not essential.
