SF Breakwaters are constructed using reinforced concrete cast around large blocks of polystyrene. The concrete work is carried out in accordance with Swedish concrete standard BBK94 and the overall production is quality assured in accordance with ISO 9001. Materials are specially selected to ensure salt water and excessive temperature variation environments. The SF patented pontoon connectors provide controlled flexibility of movement in all directions. Manufacture takes place in Wallhamn, Sweden where products can be directly loaded onto seagoing vessels. Equipment has a design life of between 30 and 50 years and is approved by Germanischer Lloyd. Pontoons can be produced in lengths varying from 10m up to 20m with widths from 2.5m up to 7.5m with freeboards ranging from 0.5m up to 1m.
